On April 23, cryptocurrency venture capital firm Blockchain Capital is simultaneously raising two new funds, targeting a total of $700 million, which includes its seventh early-stage fund and its second growth fund. Sources reveal that the firm has begun deploying some of the newly raised capital, with the entire financing round expected to be completed within five to six months.

MetaMask co-founder Dan Finlay announced that he officially left Consensys on April 23, ending over a decade of work. The report also indicates that edible vegetable oil consumption in China is forecasted to decrease by 0.2% year-on-year in 2026, while soybean consumption for food use and dairy consumption will both increase by 0.6%. Trade and production of agricultural products will become more coordinated, with imports set to decrease and exports of traditionally competitive agricultural products expected to grow. Overall agricultural product prices will remain stable, with most varieties trending stable at first and then rising within the year.
