Jason Lowery applies for White House position to advise on Bitcoin national security strategy
Jason Lowery, author of "Softwar" and a US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, announced that he has submitted an application to serve as a military advisor to the US National Security Council (NSC) and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Lowery plans to provide recommendations to the Department of Defense on the national strategic significance of Proof of Work (PoW) technology, as well as propose policies related to strategic Bitcoin reserves and the US computational power force. He believes that PoW technology can serve as a non-kinetic defense system by imposing physical costs on power consumption to deter network threats.
