PayPal and EnergyWeb propose incentive program for green Bitcoin miners

PayPal is encouraging measures to reduce the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining operations. On Monday, PayPal stated in a blog post that its blockchain research team has partnered with non-profit organization EnergyWeb to develop a clean energy verification platform for monitoring and rewarding Bitcoin mining operations with lower energy intensity.
