The U.S. Department of Justice stated that the U.S. will continue to seek the extradition of Do Kwon according to relevant international and bilateral agreements as well as Montenegrin law. It seems absurd for the Montenegrin court to extradite Do Kwon to South Korea, where he may be acquitted or lightly sentenced, rather than in the U.S. Golden Finance previously reported that Goran Rodic, Do Kwon's lawyer, stated that Do Kwon will be extradited from Montenegro to South Korea after March 23 and will face criminal charges for the collapse of his cryptocurrency company.
