2024-12-03 05:53034
This guide will help you record a video for resetting your verification method, completing identity verification, and other related applications. Make sure your video clearly captures all necessary information to speed up the review process.
1. Preparation
  • Ensure you have good lighting and a tidy background.
  • Use a device with a camera (such as a smartphone).
  • Have your valid ID document ready.
2. Recording instructions
Follow these steps in a single video:
Part 1: Front and back of the ID
  • Start by positioning the camera to capture the front of the ID. Hold it steady for a few seconds, then flip the ID over to record the back.
Part 2: Your face and the ID in hand
  • Switch to selfie mode, ensuring both your face and the held ID are clearly visible. Make sure the ID does not cover your face, and hold it steady for a few seconds.
3. FAQs and solutions
a. Unable to switch the camera
Some devices may not allow you to switch cameras during recording. Solutions:
  • Use screen recording instead of the camera.
  • Record the front and back of the ID first, then record your face with the ID in hand.
  • Ensure the entire content is combined into one video.
b. Video split into multiple recordings
We only accept one video with all the required content. Solutions:
  • Plan the recording sequence before starting to avoid interruptions.
c. Video file is too large
If the video file is too large to send by email, use a cloud storage service (such as Google Drive).
  • Upload the video to the cloud and generate a sharing link.
  • Ensure the sharing permissions are set so that customer service can access the link.
Notes
  • Ensure all information on the ID is clear and legible to avoid delays in the review process.
  • After recording, promptly email the video or the cloud link to the customer service team.
