On April 23, this crypto investor expressed his deep anger, saying, "I am extremely upset." He revealed that a private investigator contacted him, informing him that one of their clients was scammed out of $4 million by a Nigerian fraud group using his name and face as bait. "They have clearly swindled many people," Melker said, adding, "They even sent him a fake driver's license to prove it was me." They also used his avatar from the X platform as a photo. The fraudsters generated this fake ID using artificial intelligence and used a very convincing fake email account. He also mentioned that the fraudsters even forged accounts of his wife and children to further confirm the identity.
