In a major step toward bridging DeFi and traditional finance, Ondo Finance, a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform, has announced the acquisition of Oasis Pro, a U.S.-regulated digital securities infrastructure provider.
The move gives Ondo access to a full suite of U.S. securities licenses, further solidifying its push into regulated tokenized securities.
The acquisition includes Oasis Pro’s SEC-registered broker-dealer, Alternative Trading System (ATS), and Transfer Agent (TA).
The company was one of the first U.S. entities authorized to support the settlement of tokenized securities using both fiat and stablecoins, such as USDC and DAI. Terms of the deal remain undisclosed, but the transaction is pending regulatory approval.
“This unlocks the next major chapter of tokenized finance,” said Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance. “This acquisition will empower us to realize our vision of building a robust and accessible tokenized financial system, backed by the strongest regulatory foundations. We’re pleased to welcome Pat LaVecchia, CEO of Oasis Pro, to our team.”
LaVecchia will join Ondo as part of the acquisition. “We are proud to join forces with Ondo Finance, a true innovator in tokenized finance,” he said .
“This acquisition combines our brokerage platform and licenses with Ondo’s existing institutional-grade infrastructure and products, a comprehensive foundation for a regulated tokenized securities ecosystem.”
Founded in 2019, Oasis Pro has established itself as a pioneer in compliant digital asset markets. It is a member of FINRA and an active contributor to FINRA’s Crypto Working Group, helping shape the regulatory framework around tokenized assets.
The acquisition comes just weeks after Ondo Finance and Pantera Capital launched Ondo Catalyst , a $250 million initiative focused on accelerating RWA tokenization globally.
Ondo already manages more than $1.4 billion in tokenized assets and is preparing to expand its Global Markets platform by offering tokenized stocks to investors outside the U.S. in the coming months. It’s teaming up with wallets, exchanges, and other protocols to make access simple and seamless.
With the Oasis Pro acquisition, Ondo is strengthening its position as a key player connecting traditional finance with blockchain, through a fully regulated tokenized securities ecosystem.
