51nodes, WMC & IABG Launch Tokenized Environmental Data Pilot
51nodes, a German blockchain technology integration specialist, has merged with World Mobile Chain (WMC) along with Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (IABG) to launch the ‘Tokenized Environmental Data for Marketplace Models’ (EDT) pilot project.
The EDT project adopts components from previous IABG and Secublox blockchain Minimum Viable Products to create a data tokenization system for sensor and aerial vehicle data organization, verification, and commercialization.
EDT achieves genuine environmental data transparency by implementing blockchain automation with hardware root-of-trust security features. This secure data system operates from public blockchain foundations to protect defense sector and aerospace industry applications and mobility operations.
Jochen Kassberger, co-founder and managing director of 51nodes, stated, “We are thrilled to partner with World Mobile Chain and IABG on this cutting-edge initiative. This project will redefine how environmental data is structured, tokenized, and commercialized through blockchain technology.”
The alliance between World Mobile Chain and IABG and 51nodes operates to develop modern marketplaces for data tokenization. Data monetization, network security, and automation receive enhanced capabilities through Layer-2 and Layer-3 blockchains when compared to existing traditional systems.
“As the first DePIN Layer-3 of the Base blockchain ecosystem, World Mobile Chain is uniquely positioned to scale tokenized real-world asset models. Our partnership with 51nodes and IABG will set new standards in blockchain-powered environmental data management.” Said Micky Watkins, founder and CEO at World Mobile Group.
A reference business model under EDT enables industries to implement blockchain for automated, secure data management. The system enables three important applications: aerial vehicle fleet coordination, access control capabilities, and drone flight system automation based on measurement protocols for smart cities.
The EDT project works toward industry collaboration expansion by drawing participation from research centers along with smart city councils and aerospace organizations to secure funding from enterprise partners.
The presentation will demonstrate World Mobile Chain capabilities while helping Munich establish a better blockchain ecosystem because of prominent regional companies, including ESA, Isar Aerospace, BMW, Siemens, and Infineon. The expected joint projects between TUM and similar institutions will aid industry-scale adoption of their technology.
