SlowMist Yujian: In the ZKSync theft incident, the sole sequencer maintainer intervened to stop the hacker's address
According to SlowMist Yujian, the ZKSync incident, in which $5 million worth of ZK tokens were stolen due to an admin private key leak, has been resolved, and all stolen funds have been recovered. It is reported that during the handling of the incident, Matter Labs, the maintainer of the sole sequencer on ZKSync, intervened to restrict the hacker's address, successfully limiting the transfer of 70% of the stolen funds. Matter Labs stated that the intervention was necessary because the stolen ZK tokens were directly related to the protocol's governance.
Yujian stated: Acknowledged the intervention, but expressed some regret over previous theft incidents on ZKSync that were not considered "major internal affairs."
