Key Takeaways
- AI Unbundled is a new alliance led by Aethir to promote AI development in web3 by bringing together various partners.
- The initiative provides AI startups with funding, access to decentralized resources, and opportunities for collaboration through co-branded events.
Aethir, a pioneer in decentralized cloud infrastructure for AI and gaming, is launching “AI Unbundled,” a new industry alliance aimed at advancing artificial intelligence innovation within the web3 ecosystem, the team shared in a Monday announcement.
AI Unbundled offers a collaborative framework that connects AI builders with decentralized computing resources, funding, and go-to-market support.
Through this initiative, AI builders can seamlessly tap into high-performance, cost-efficient infrastructure critical to training and deploying advanced models.
“AI is entering a new phase, and the teams building at the edge of this movement need more than access to compute — they need access to a full ecosystem,” said Daniel Wang, CEO of Aethir.
“AI Unbundled is our commitment to making decentralized AI development viable by providing builders with open, scalable, and composable infrastructure, while supporting projects that drive positive impacts and innovations,” Wang added.
The initiative brings together key decentralized infrastructure providers, blockchain networks, and investment firms, including 0G Labs, Biconomy, Polyhedra, Oasis Protocol Foundation, ChainGPT, IoTeX, iExec, GEODNET, Flock.io, Alpha Neural AI, DeAgent AI, and OORT.

The alliance will provide AI startups with joint grant funding ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, subsidized access to decentralized GPU infrastructure, and access to 0G’s inference and verification tools.
The program includes co-branded industry events, workshops, and dedicated hackathons, along with early access to decentralized tools like ERC-7857, an iNFT standard for securing AI agents. Startups will also receive access to a shared resource hub for ecosystem introductions, co-marketing, and technical mentorship.
“0G Labs is the decentralized OS for AI—offering unmatched scale and modularity for real-time, on-chain intelligence. Joining AI Unbundled amplifies our commitment to powering the builders who are shaping the future of decentralized AI,” said Ada Heinrich, CMO at 0G Labs.
AI developers and early-stage startups working in AI and web3 are invited to apply to join AI Unbundled. The alliance is open to both emerging and established teams seeking to build using decentralized technologies.
Aethir currently operates a decentralized network of over 425,000 enterprise-grade GPUs distributed across 95 countries, making it one of the largest GPU-as-a-service platforms globally.
The company has established partnerships with leading organizations in the blockchain, AI, and cloud computing sectors to accelerate the adoption of decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure, foster innovation across the AI and gaming sectors, and build a sustainable, inclusive, and high-performance computing ecosystem.
Notable partners include EigenLayer, Solana, Avalanche Foundation, Plume, Filecoin Foundation, and NEAR Foundation.
