PANews, April 21 - PancakeSwap officially announced that CAKE Tokenomics 3.0 is set to be implemented on April 23 at 00:00 UTC, with veCAKE and Gauges Voting officially "retiring."

Starting from April 23, 2025, at 08:00 (UTC), all CAKE and veCAKE staking will be unlocked. Users who directly staked CAKE through the PancakeSwap interface will be able to convert veCAKE to CAKE at a 1:1 ratio. Users who directly staked CAKE through the PancakeSwap interface will have six months to redeem their staked CAKE and veCAKE, with the deadline being October 23, 2025, at 08:00 UTC.
