- Bitget introduces the first on-chain affiliate program in the crypto exchange sector.
- Affiliates can earn up to 40% rebates from DeFi activity via Bitget Onchain.
- The program simplifies DeFi access by enabling on-chain trades from CEX accounts.
Bitget, a global crypto exchange and Web3 company, has launched the crypto industry’s first on-chain affiliate program. The initiative expands the scope of traditional exchange referral models by offering rewards for user activity within decentralized finance (DeFi) environments.
How Does Bitget’s New Program Reward On-Chain Activity?
Historically, affiliate programs in the crypto sector have focused on rewarding referrals for spot and futures trading. Bitget’s latest program adds a new dimension by enabling partners to earn rebates from user activity on Bitget Onchain, the platform’s on-chain trading interface.
Affiliates can now earn up to 40 percent in rebates from these on-chain transactions, in addition to up to 50% commissions on conventional trading fees. The reward structure is tiered, offering higher percentages based on affiliate performance.
How Does Bitget Onchain Simplify DeFi Access?
A core feature powering this is Bitget Onchain’s design for simplifying DeFi access. Users are able to execute on-chain trades directly from their main Bitget spot accounts, removing the need for third-party wallets or complex key management.
The company says this design aims to make decentralized trading more accessible to centralized exchange (CEX) users who may be unfamiliar with DeFi interfaces or concerned about security risks. All transactions are backed by Bitget’s $600 million Protection Fund.
The platform also incorporates AI-based asset discovery tools to help users identify and evaluate projects in real time.

Who Can Join Bitget’s Expanded Affiliate Program?
The affiliate program is open to creators and community leaders with 100 or more followers across social platforms. Qualified partners receive unique referral links to promote both Bitget’s centralized exchange services and its on-chain DeFi features.
Bitget’s move reflects a broader trend of exchanges integrating DeFi elements into their platforms to tap into decentralized markets while preserving user familiarity with centralized interfaces.
Founded in 2018, Bitget has grown to serve over 100 million users across more than 150 countries. The exchange has increasingly positioned itself at the intersection of traditional trading tools and emerging Web3 infrastructure.

How Does This Fit Bitget’s Latest Marketing
This affiliate program launch follows closely behind Bitget’s other major marketing efforts. Just yesterday, Bitget debuted an advertising campaign featuring FC Barcelona winger Raphinha, highlighting the parallels between football and crypto trading.
The campaign runs through April and includes short films that use Raphinha’s on-pitch performance to illustrate Bitget’s trading tools like Copy Trading, Launchpool, and Pre-market services.
The move aligns with Bitget’s ongoing partnership with La Liga and features user engagement initiatives such as trading challenges and La Liga-themed rewards.
