Everclear Mainnet Launches, Will Support Solana
Foresight News reports that cross-chain settlement protocol Everclear has launched its mainnet, concluding a six-month test. Everclear also announced support for Solana, as well as an intent protocol (a system allowing users to automate trades) and an intent-based cross-chain router, simplifying asset exchanges between blockchains.
Everclear (formerly Connext) is a blockchain interoperability protocol aimed at addressing cryptocurrency fragmentation. Initially launched in 2017 under the name Connext, it received support from entities like Pantera, Polychain, Consensys, and the Ethereum Foundation. Last year, as part of a "strategic shift," it rebranded and unveiled a Rollup chain based on Arbitrum Orbit for intent-based bridging. The network serves as a back-end liquidity hub, simplifying cross-chain transaction settlement by matching opposing trade "intents."
