Glassnode analysis: $OM's sharp drop is a broad market reaction, not dominated by early large holders
News on April 14th, according to Glassnode analysis, $OM plummeted to below 1 US dollar in a short time today, and at 08:20 UTC there was a large transfer of 38 million coins into the exchange at an average price of $0.71, indicating panic or arbitrage behavior. During the plunge, the proportion of holdings by the top 1% dropped from 96.4% to 95.6%, suggesting that major holders were selling off or liquidating their positions. This resulted in about $740 million evaporating from its market value within just a few hours. The number of transfers and active addresses surged, indicating widespread market participation. This round of sell-off was not led by early coin holders but rather reflected more systemic market reactions.
