411 South Korean officials declared virtual assets with a total value of over US$9.8 million
according to the South Korean "Culture Daily" report, the public officials' property change report released by the South Korean government's Ethics Committee for Public Officials shows that out of 2047 declarants, 411 people (20.1%) hold virtual assets, totaling 14.4 billion Korean won (approximately 9.82 million U.S. dollars), with an average of about 35.07 million Korean won per person. Among them, Seoul City Councilor Kim Hye-young ranked first with a declared amount of 1.7 billion Korean won, holding 16 types of cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, DOGE, and XRP.
