The bill on the abolition of DeFi broker rules will be put to a final vote this Thursday, and may be submitted to Trump for signature as early as Friday
FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett reported that, according to three informed sources, the Senate plans to hold a final vote on a joint resolution on Thursday. This resolution aims to abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules for decentralized finance (DeFi) brokers. Although the joint resolution was passed with a supermajority of both parties voting in favor on March 4th, due to a technical issue, the Senate had to vote again. This vote will be the last step before sending the resolution for Trump's signature, which could happen as early as Friday.
