XRP eyes $10 by 2030 as SEC case resolved
The resolution of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) lawsuit against Ripple Labs has reignited optimism around XRP (CRYPTO:XRP), with analysts projecting a potential climb to $10 by 2030.
Technical analysts and market observers cite regulatory clarity, Ripple’s RLUSD (CRYPTO:RLUSD) stablecoin adoption, and potential IPO plans as key drivers for the token’s long-term trajectory.
Bitget’s Ryan Lee highlights XRP’s current trading range between $2.35 and $2.55 as a critical threshold.
A breakout above $2.55 could signal upward momentum, while a dip below $2.35 may trigger consolidation.
Lee notes short-term targets of $2.00–$2.17 on the downside and $2.65–$3.00 on the upside, with long-term projections of $4.20–$10+ by 2030 contingent on Ripple’s ability to scale payment solutions.
Technical indicators such as a neutral Relative Strength Index (RSI) and bearish Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) suggest near-term consolidation.
The RSI, which gauges price momentum, remains balanced, while the MACD’s bearish crossover signals cautious sentiment.
Nick Ruck, director at LVRG Research, attributes XRP’s relative stability during recent crypto market downturns to bullish sentiment.
However, he warns that macroeconomic pressures, including U.S. tariffs and regulatory shifts, could disrupt momentum.
The SEC’s withdrawal from its lawsuit against Ripple has removed a major overhang, enabling clearer regulatory pathways for XRP.
Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, designed for cross-border payments, is seen as a catalyst for institutional adoption.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently acknowledged the possibility of an initial public offering (IPO), though no timeline has been confirmed.
Such a move could further legitimise XRP’s role in global payment networks, potentially attracting institutional investors.
At the time of reporting, the XRP price was $2.46.
