Survey: High-net-worth investors hold more crypto assets than average Americans
PANews reported on March 14 that according to a survey by Grayscale Investments and Harris Poll, 26% of high-net-worth individuals in the United States with investable assets of more than $1 million hold cryptocurrencies, which is higher than the national average of 20%. In addition, 38% of high-net-worth individuals expect their future investment portfolios to include crypto assets, of which 53% are under 50 years old and 22% are over 50 years old.
The survey also found that high-net-worth investors are more concerned about the crypto market due to the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs, inflation and geopolitical factors, and 36% said they are paying close attention to Bitcoin. 42% of high-net-worth investors purchased crypto assets because of financial advisors' advice, which is much higher than the 27% of ordinary investors. At the same time, 43% of investors over 50 and 48% of investors under 50 are waiting for clearer policies and regulations before entering the market.
