The Ethereum Pectra upgrade has been delayed due to testing flaws and additional tests will be conducted
Ethereum developers have decided to postpone the Pectra upgrade due to a configuration error that led to vulnerabilities on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets. The delay was initially planned for confirmation at a telephone conference on March 6th, where they would determine the mainnet release date for Pectra. However, due to instability in testing, developers decided to create a "shadow fork" of the Holesky testnet so key stakeholders (such as staking pools and DApp developers) can continue testing their code before Pectra officially goes live. The Holesky network is expected to resume normal operations on March 28th. (CoinDesk)
