Russia’s Ministry of Finance and Central Bank Discuss Launch of Digital Currency Trading
According to TASS, Alexei Yakovlev, Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, told reporters that the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Russia are discussing the introduction of organized digital currency transactions within the framework of the experimental legal system (EPR) within Russia. Participants in the "super-qualified" investor category (currently developing standards) will be able to participate in auctions. The Ministry of Finance hopes that the corresponding ideas can be implemented in the near future.
