Animoca Brands' revenue last year was $314 million, and its consulting business revenue exceeded that of the Web3 sector
Animoca Brands' total revenue for 2024 was $314 million, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Among them, advisory business revenue was $165 million, a year-on-year increase of 116%, surpassing traditional Web3 business.
Web3 business (games and NFTs) revenue decreased to $110 million, a year-on-year decline of 40%, reflecting the company's transformation towards advisory services such as token economics, listing consultation, and node operation. In addition, investment income and management fees contributed $39 million.
The financial report shows that the company has cash and stablecoin reserves of $293 million, digital assets of $538 million, and on-chain token reserves of $2.9 billion. Despite the increase in the portfolio to 540 companies, private investment has decreased by 18%, mainly due to token unlocking, equity exits, and asset devaluation.
