Berachain Co-Founder Regrets Selling Too Much Token Supply to VCs, Now Aims to Minimize Community Dilution
PANews reported on March 5th that Smokey the Bera, the anonymous co-founder of Berachain, stated in an interview with Un Chained: "I don't think the criticism is entirely wrong. If we could do it all over again and the team could start from scratch, we might not sell so much of the supply to venture capital firms. In fact, most of the supply was sold during the seed round in early 2022. At the time, we thought it might be an interesting thing, but we didn't expect it to grow to such a large scale as it is now. So I think these criticisms are justified. In fact, over time, we have been working hard to buy back the supply from the seed round and subsequent rounds like the Series A, so that we can minimize the dilution the community suffers from these shares."
