U.S. House Republicans form "Congressional Crypto Caucus" to promote friendly policy legislation
According to Fox News reporter Eleanor Terrett, Republican House Whip Tom Emmer and Congressman Ritchie Torres are teaming up to establish the Congressional Crypto Caucus, a bipartisan initiative aimed at promoting crypto-friendly policies in the House of Representatives. Unlike the Congressional Blockchain Caucus established in 2017, this group will operate more as a voting bloc to mobilize support for digital asset bills (including stablecoins and market structure bills) being developed in the House. Congressman Emmer stated that the formation of this caucus is in response to millions of American voters who voted in November to support candidates prioritizing the development of digital assets and blockchain technology.
