According to market news, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that it has lifted civil enforcement action against a certain CEX. The case can be traced back to June 2023, when the SEC sued the CEX, accusing it of merging three usually separate functions - brokerages, exchanges, and clearinghouses - in violation of U.S. securities laws.
