Tanmay Bhat’s Twitter Hacked, Fake Memecoin Announced
Indian comedian and content creator Tanmay Bhat’s Twitter account was hacked, where recently the hacker announced the launch of his memecoin, Tanmeme.
Tanmay posted a story on Instagram, stating that his Twitter account was hacked and urging people not to click on any links shared from his profile. He also said that he is working on recovering the account.
The hack came after a post on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that Tanmay was launching a cryptocurrency on the Solana blockchain. The announcement quickly gained attention, with some users expressing skepticism, suspecting a possible hack.
Celebrity Twitter hacks are becoming more common, especially during crypto bull markets. Tanmay’s case shows how quickly misinformation can spread online.
