Metaplanet CEO: Currently holding 2100 BTC, the return rate of BTC up to now in 2025 is 18%
Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, announced in X that the company has invested approximately 6.6 million USD to increase its holdings by 68.59 BTC at an average price of about 96,335 USD and achieved a BTC yield rate (BTCYield) of 18% so far in 2025. As of February 20, 2025, Metaplanet holds 2100 BTC with a purchase price of approximately $169.9 million at an average price of about $80,905 per unit. In response to this news, Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), commented: "One Basis Point of Bitcoin."
