1. Overview
According to Crunchbase, Mind AI was founded in 2024. They were seeing what every other player in the crypto space could see:
Every month thousands of new tokens launch,
Influencers flood Twitter with hundreds of hashtags,
The market changes so rapidly that it's hard to catch up.
These factors drive so many concerns and questions in users’ mind, for instance:
How to act on trends before it’s too late?
Is there a way to measure true impact?
How do we evaluate token value beyond hype?
That’s why Mind AI’s team rolled up their sleeves. They saw the problems, and the opportunities lying there as well. They call Mind AI a trading insights platform powered by social intelligence & advanced AI agents.
They are on a mission to revolutionize crypto investment decisions by making tools and data accessible to everyone. The platform helps investors by tackling social media noise, simplifying on-chain and off-chain data, and discovering gems.
2. Architecture, components, and features
Mind AI is a platform designed to enhance cryptocurrency investment decisions through AI-driven insights and tools. The platform is addressing these problems:
Social Media Bias (Algorithmic Echo Chamber Effect): Algorithms amplify content that aligns with your current views, creating an "echo chamber." For instance, if you follow bullish influencers on a token, algorithms reinforce this bias by showing similar content. This can lead to overconfidence while causing you to ignore opposing perspectives.
Influencer Bias in Crypto: Influencer credibility is often based on engagement, not expertise. Many influencers promote tokens for financial gain rather than merit, misleading followers and distorting market dynamics.
Inaccurate Advice: Misleading recommendations lead to poor investment decisions, with 75% of retail investors reporting financial losses after acting on social media advice (FCA, 2023).
Low Credibility of Promotions: High follower counts and visibility often give an illusion of credibility. Investors mistakenly equate popularity with reliability, exposing them to low-quality or fraudulent token promotions.
Information Overload (Too Many Tokens, Too Little Time): With thousands of new tokens launched every month, tracking the market can be overwhelming. Social media floods users with opinions, while rapid market changes make it difficult to distinguish valuable tokens from hype.
These problems and flaws lead to nothing but extreme pains like:
Time-Consuming Research: Investors waste countless hours filtering through excessive, unreliable information.
Financial Losses: Misleading advice and hype-driven investments result in significant financial setbacks.
Loss of Trust: The prevalence of biased information undermines confidence in the crypto market, deterring new and existing investors.
To tackle the issues discussed above, Mind AI uses a publish-subscribe (pub-sub) model to gather, process, and deliver insights:
1. Publishers (Data Sources):
Off-Chain Data: Social media trends, influencer mentions, news sentiment, and community discussions.
On-Chain Data: Token transactions, supply distribution, holder activity, and market metrics.
2. The Mind AI Data Layer:
Aggregates, filters, and enriches the data.
Analyzes patterns using ML and AI to identify key market signals and opportunities.
Combines on-chain activity with off-chain sentiment to build a complete picture of the market.
3. Subscribers (Users):
Users receive real-time, personalized insights based on their preferences—ranging from hot tokens and emerging narratives to KOL-driven ROI updates and risk alerts.
Potential users can be categorized as below:
Institutional: Organizations and businesses like exchanges, hedge funds, marketing agencies, launchpads, and trading teams, drive the demand for API offered by Mind AI.
Retail players including individual traders, project researchers, DeFi users, solo analysts, and degens.
These users will provide revenue streams for Mind AI:
B2B side: API integration.
B2C side: premium features, credits based.
In terms of components, Mind AI’s products can be organized into three main categories:
1. Research & Insights Tools
Mind AI’s Research & Insights Tools provide a comprehensive market overview by analyzing on-chain and off-chain data from influencers, community trends, and token performance. Key features include:
Signalboard (Alpha View): Real-time insights into trending tokens.
KOL Dashboard: Ranks influencers by their financial impact (RoA). The "Return on Advice" (RoA) system is an innovative way to evaluate influencers. Instead of relying on metrics like engagement, RoA calculates the financial impact of an influencer's advice. This approach ensures investors focus on meaningful outcomes rather than just visibility.
Know Your Influencer (KYI): Detailed influencer profiles with performance metrics.
Use Case: Imagine you notice a token trending on the Signalboard with rising KOL and New Holders Trend Scores. The KOL Dashboard shows that top influencers with high RoA scores are backing it. Using the KYI tool, you confirm their reliable track records and decide to invest early, capitalizing on the opportunity before the broader market reacts.
2. Smart Portfolio Tools
Mind AI’s Smart Portfolio Tools provide tailored, real-time portfolio management through features like:
Personalized Portfolio Dashboard: Tracks token performance and influencer activity.
Smart Picks (Personalized Recommendations): Offers strategic investment suggestions aligned with your goals.
Use Case: Suppose you’re diversifying your portfolio. The dashboard recommends a new token that aligns with your growth strategy. After confirming its details and endorsements from high-RoA influencers, you add it to your portfolio. The dashboard continues to provide updates, helping you optimize returns.
3. Insight-to-Action Tools
Mind AI’s Insight-to-Action Tools help you act swiftly on opportunities with:
Smart Swap (Mind AI Dex): Enables quick token trades directly in the platform.
Mind AI Agent: Acts as your personalized assistant, providing real-time insights and updates tailored to your preferences and market trends. It delivers notifications directly to your Mind AI dashboard or Telegram.
Use Case: Imagine you spot a token with strong momentum on the Signalboard. Using SmartSwap, you quickly invest without leaving the platform. Later, the Telegram Bot notifies you of a price surge. You execute another trade instantly, ensuring you maximize your gains.
All these wonderful tools and services are based on Mind AI Data Layer. This layer is the engine of Mind AI, a powerful architecture that aggregates and analyzes vast amounts of off-chain data (from social media, influencers, community engagement, and market trends) and on-chain data (token performance, transactions, and activity metrics). Using advanced machine learning (ML) and AI, this data is processed into actionable insights that empower investors to make smarter, faster investment decisions.
As of now, the team has launched the beta version of the product, containing these parts:
1. My Social Hub:
This dashboard can be considered as a summarized version of the other sections. Here you can also add/remove the KOLs you follow.
2. Influencer's profile:
By clicking on the arrow sign near each KOL picture, you will be redirected to their profile, where you can see their performance metrics like ROA, Score, and history of Mentions. Also, there are several numbers and metrics provided in each influencer's profile to measure their credibility. As an instance, putting together metrics like No. of Mentions with Initial and Last Mention ROA of an asset, users can find out if an influencer is acting honestly, or at least wisely, or is promoting some tokens.
Apart from that, a user can indirectly assess the quality of their influencers by comparing "My Influencers Top Gainers" vs. "Top Gainers".
3. Top Mentions:
Here you will see two tables: The first one is the most mentioned assets by all influencers, while the second includes top mentions by your own KOLs. In both tables, the tokens are sorted by no. of mentions. Top mentions are categorized into daily, weekly, and monthly time-frames. This helps users to match the table with their own trading strategy and time-frame.
Items like Mention Count, Influencers Count, and Average Influencer Score aids users to evaluate the overall reliability of the mentions.
4. Top Gainers:
In this page, the first table (Top Gainers) includes best calls by KOLs, while the other one lists best calls by the influencers you follow. In both "Top Mentions" and "Top Gainers," tickers of the crypto assets are hyperlinked to their profile on CoinGecko, which makes it straightforward to see the price chart and read some info about the tokens.
In the Top Gainers table, a drop-down list is provided next to each asset, where you can easily see the best callers.
3. Tokenomics
The native utility token of Mind AI is $MA (former $Mind). $MA functions as the credit required for accessing services and features within the platform. Credits are tied to system usage, with certain features consuming more than others. The diagram below gives us an insight into Mind AI’s token economy:
Here’s a description of the diagram:
Data Services:
Mind AI offers on-demand data for research through a SWAP mechanism using the $MA/DATA pair.
DATA Weighting: Each unit of DATA is linked to a specific amount of $MA.
Usage: Each data request consumes $MA credits. For example, requesting an export of 300 DATA units (CSV/JSON) would cost $30,000 in $MA.
API Access Fees:
API Consumption: The system's API access fees are based on the chosen API suite.
Token Locking: The amount of $MA locked depends on the API suite and data usage preferences.
Credits and Usage: Credits are consumed based on system features, with some features requiring more credits than others.
Target Ads (Monetized Attention Reward):
Advertising System: Users are rewarded with $MA for watching targeted ads, incentivizing engagement within the ecosystem.
Staking:
Staking Rewards: Stakers receive renewable credits each month based on APY, with unused credits expiring at the end of each cycle.
Voting Power: Stakers gain voting power in future Mind AI decisions, contributing to governance.
Locking Period & APY:
The APY and staking period will be determined and adjusted periodically.
Regarding the burning process, it will begin once the API usage milestone is met, ensuring token scarcity and value preservation.
Next thing to consider is the allocation of the tokens, which is as below:
Generally speaking, this tokenomics structure balances investment, utility, and sustainability. 42% is allocated to investors, with 25% in private sales, 9% in strategic rounds, and 8% in public sales, ensuring strong early backing but posing potential sell pressure risks if vesting isn't managed well. 34.25% is dedicated to community and utility, including 19.25% for liquidity, 10% for treasury and staking, and 5% for airdrops, supporting ecosystem growth and market stability. 16.55% is reserved for the team and advisors, which, if vested properly, prevents insider dumps. 7.2% is allocated for marketing, ensuring long-term adoption.
While this structure provides a solid foundation, careful vesting schedules and liquidity strategies will be essential to prevent early volatility and promote long-term stability.
4. Partners and backers
Backers:
Mind AI has raised $1.2M so far, with participation from 18 investors including Coinvestor Ventures and AlfaCatalyst. The funding round was closed on Jan 17, 2025 from a Seed round.
Moreover, they were accepted into NVIDIA's Inception Program. NVIDIA Inception is a free program designed to help startups grow faster through cutting-edge technology, opportunities to connect with venture capitalists, and access to the latest technical resources from NVIDIA. Fortunately, this program has no equity requirements or obligations to use NVIDIA GPUs or SDKs. Otherwise, concerns about centralization might arise.
Partners:
Launchpad partners: DegenPad, Decubate, etc.
DeepSeek: They're integrating DeepSeek's advanced LLMs to supercharge their AI agents and platform capabilities.
ElizaOS_ai: With this partnership, Mind AI is enhancing its AI capabilities in processing social signals and market data, including a more precise Return on Advice (RoA) scoring system.
Novastro: This integration is formed to bring social intelligence to RWA trading. Novastro is a layer 2 RWA chain, helping users tokenize, trade, and earn yields on RWAs.

6. Potential competitors
The main competitor challenging Mind AI, could be Kaito. It has been in the market before Mind AI and currently has a stronger position, is backed by VCs like DragonFly and Sequoia Capital, and covers NFTs as well as cryptocurrencies. However, Mind AI’s hands are not tied:
It offers a more straightforward UI, which is key to attract more users, the novice ones in particular.
It is equipped with a native trading tool, Mind AI DEX.
In contrast to Kaito, Mind AI is decentralized and deployed on Base network.
Kaito doesn’t filter out the bad players, e.g. KOLs that are creating hype around a token without real value, sometimes in exchange for being paid.
Finally, Kaito functions more as an assistant that collects, summarizes, and categorizes data and information. So ultimately, it is up to the users to do the work—deciding what to search for, which data to use, and how to proceed. In contrast, Mind AI offers both experienced and new users actionable, crystal-clear insights through a seamless experience.
7. Community
As discussed in the 5th section (Development, roadmap, and future steps), Mind AI has experienced notable growth in the quantity and quality of its community, all in less than a year. Currently, the community consists of over 300k profiles across Telegram and X. Moreover, as the data shows, this uptrend is strongly continuing:
Last but not least, Mind AI’s profiles are very active and share posts every day, incentivizing the guild and creating hype, especially by sharing trading signals.
8. Final thoughts
Mind AI simplifies the decision-making process, protects users from biased information, and empowers them to spot valuable opportunities in a complex market. With Mind AI, investors are not just making guesses—they’re making smart, data-driven choices. With all that said in the previous sections, we can weigh the positives and negatives of Mind AI:
Pros and opportunities:
Mind AI is introducing itself in a perfect time: There’s hype around the AI industry, and at the same time, around the whole crypto space. Moreover, Trump announced a $500B initiative for AI, further fueling the hype.
Mind AI is targeting a crucial pain point in the market. Their solutions not only can make the investors smarter and richer, but also can act as a backer of projects worth investing on. Moreover, Mind AI may play a role in boosting crypto adoption.
Through the economy of $MA token, Mind AI maintains a dynamic balance between utility, rewards, and scarcity.
Members of the team have previously worked and built together, and this strong bond between them may bring faster and more efficient developments into the project.
Mind AI’s social accounts are actively creating hype, and the community is getting stronger day to day.
Cons and threats:
It seems that the team started to train the ML core in Q3 2024, so we should wait and see if the AI engine is well-trained.
Mind AI’s insights may not be entirely reliable for tokens that are new to the market, due to a lack of sufficient historical data (market, social media, on-chain, etc.) for such assets.
There are numerous brands similar to Mind AI, such as Minds AI, AImind, Xmind AI, and others. This could pose a challenge, hindering their marketing efforts.
When dealing with sourcing on-chain and off-chain data, the security and reliability of oracles are essential. Any flaws in that layer could pose a great risk to the whole platform.
