US Vice President threatens sanctions and possible military action if Russia doesn't reach peace deal
according to The Wall Street Journal: U.S. Vice President Pence said on Thursday that if Russian President Putin does not agree to a peace agreement with Ukraine that guarantees long-term independence for Ukraine, the United States will impose sanctions on Russia and may take military action. If Russia does not negotiate sincerely, the option of sending troops to Ukraine is still "on the table."
