- Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol AAVE (AAVE) will be available on Sonic and Linea next week.
- Bittensor (TAO) will be undergoing its most significant upgrade to date with the dTAO upgrade scheduled to begin on February 10.
- Public cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN) will announce its earnings report on February 13.
- Solana’s leading decentralized exchange aggregator Jupiter (JUP) has teased a major product announcement coming next week. Details are still unknown
- Approximately 12% of Berachain’s (BERA) total token supply will be unlocked on February 10. A large portion of these tokens are allocated for airdrops and ecosystem dApps, which could impact market dynamics depending on how buyers use their newly unlocked tokens.
- Beyond altcoin-specific developments, the overall crypto market will also be affected by the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) data set to be released on February 12.

Citizens will now be able to pay taxes, fees, tickets and permits entirely in crypto starting with BTC, ETH, USDC, and USDT. The city partnered with a bank that will receive crypto payments and convert them on the spot to U.S. dollars, allowing for the free flow of crypto in the entire economy.
