Musk: No intention to acquire TikTok, usually prefers to build a company from scratch
On February 9th, according to Fortune, at a conference held by Axel Springer in Germany, Musk expressed his views on the topic of acquiring TikTok for the first time. He stated that he had not made a purchase offer to TikTok and had no plans to do so. Musk personally does not use TikTok and stated, "I am not enthusiastic about acquiring TikTok. I usually prefer to build companies from scratch."
Earlier reports stated that Chinese officials were evaluating the possibility of Musk acquiring TikTok's US business. If TikTok fails to respond to the ban, Musk's X platform may take over TikTok's US business.
