Crypto Exec Says Retail Sentiment at "Worst in Years" Despite Bullish Pro Investors
According to a crypto executive, professional investors in the crypto industry are optimistic about the overall market, but retail interest is at its lowest level in years. This sentiment is shared across the industry, although some analysts argue it varies between different crypto tokens. Bitwise's chief investment officer, Matt Hougan, stated that there is a significant disconnect between retail and professional sentiment in crypto. The Crypto Fear and Greed Index shows a "Fear" score of 44, down from last month's "Greed" score of 69, due to retail holding altcoins and memecoins that have dropped in value.
