Santiment: The number of wallets holding more than 100 BTC increased by 135 in February
cryptocurrency research firm Santiment tweeted that Bitcoin whales have accumulated more tokens during the mid-term decline and major volatility period of the cryptocurrency market. For small retail traders, especially those who entered the market for the first time in the past six months, volatility caused them to be liquidated. Overall, in February, the number of wallets holding 100+ BTC increased by 135, while the number of wallets holding less than 100 decreased by 138,680. This is an ideal environment for the rise in cryptocurrency market value, even if it takes weeks (or even months) to see the general bullish impact of cryptocurrency being absorbed by whales.
