The acting chairman of the US SEC appoints former Coin Center director to join the cryptocurrency working group
Landon Zinda has resigned from his position as Policy Director at the cryptocurrency advocacy organization Coin Center, to join the cryptocurrency working group of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In a notice on February 4th, acting SEC Chairman Mark Uyeda stated that Zinda has joined the commission as his legal advisor and senior advisor to the cryptocurrency working group. The former director of Coin Center will join a team led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, working alongside Chief of Staff Richard Gabbert and Chief Policy Advisor Taylor Asher.
