Survey: 51% of Generation Z (18-29 years old) worldwide hold or have held cryptocurrency
Citing the latest survey from cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, 51% of global Generation Z (18-29 years old) respondents said they currently or have previously held cryptocurrencies, far higher than the total population's 35%.
The survey covered a total of 6,000 respondents from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and Turkey. Specific data shows that 51% of Generation Z in the United States, 49% of millennials, and 29% of Generation X own or have owned cryptocurrencies.
In addition, the survey also found that 31% of Generation Z strongly support the government's strengthening of regulation on the cryptocurrency industry, lower than the total population's 46%.
