XRP Ledger native DEX swap volume reached $400 million in January, exceeding $1 billion since launch
Odaily Planet Daily News Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on January 28 that XRP Ledger's native DEX swap transaction volume in January has reached $400 million, an average of about $17 million per day. Since its launch in 2024, DEX has processed more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency swap transactions.
Garlinghouse continued that this rapid growth is one of several reasons why "2024 will be Ripple's most milestone year." Other factors include the "early but promising traction" of Ripple's US dollar stablecoin RLUSD, and several proposed XRP ETF applications.
He added that investment bank JPMorgan estimates that XRP ETFs, including those proposed by asset management companies Bitwise and WisdomTree, will attract more than $8 billion in funds to XRP.
