iZUMi Finance completed a platform token buyback worth 4.9 million US dollars in 2024

Since 2021, iZUMi Finance has been repurchasing its platform tokens for three consecutive years. In 2024, iZUMi Finance repurchased a total of $4.9 million worth of iZi tokens.

iZUMi Finance will continue to buy back platform tokens in 2025, with 50% of the protocol revenue being used to repurchase iZi tokens.

Recently, Jupiter, a leading DEX platform on Solana announced that it would use 50% of its protocol fees to buy back JUP tokens. The team at iZUMi Finance hopes to see more protocols adopt this practice and use their income to buy back platform tokens, providing stronger empowerment for token holders.
