US DOGE sector: Trump cancels about $420 million in contracts in the first 80 hours of his second term
According to Techinasia the US Department of Efficiency (DOGE) stated that within the first 80 hours of Trump's second term, about $420 million of existing or pending contracts were cancelled. These cancelled contracts mainly involved diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) plans, as well as the termination of two lease agreements and agreements related to idle properties. The specific reasons for the cancellations have not yet been disclosed.
