BREAKING: Important Development for Solana – Grayscale Takes First Step
According to the latest information, Grayscale has filed an application for the Solana ETF with the NYSE.
The SEC could see a regulatory shakeup in the coming months. The agency recently created a new crypto task force led by SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, nicknamed “Crypto Mom,” that will hold roundtables and focus on clear rules, “realistic paths to registration,” disclosure, and “reasonably allocating enforcement resources.”
However, Bloomberg ETF analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart recently said they do not expect Solana ETF approval before 2026. Today is a busy day for altcoin ETFs, with other companies also applying for ETFs for XRP and Litecoin.
