SlowMist Cosine: Users need to pay attention to the AdsPower security incident. Some of the affected plug-in wallets are backdoor versions.
On January 25th, SlowMist founder, Yu Xian, posted on social media that AdsPower's fingerprint browser had transparently disclosed a security breach. If you use AdsPower and installed or manually updated the extension wallet between 18:00 on January 21st and 18:00 on January 24th (UTC+8), then your extension wallet on Ads Power (such as MetaMask, etc.) may be a version with a backdoor that will steal your mnemonic phrase/private key. Currently, the risk appears to be controllable through our intervention and investigation, and the official emergency response was timely. If users are stolen due to this situation, they can submit relevant information to SlowMist channels.
