The Web3 decentralized science (DeSci) project, OpenSci, announced today the official launch of its website and Galxe event. In addition, OpenSci has launched the Galxe Quest event where users have a chance to qualify for an airdrop by completing tasks. The event will run from 8 am on January 24th to 7:59 am on March 23rd Singapore time.
OpenSci is reportedly the first decentralized science platform that supports multiple disciplinary tracks, providing research fundraising, literature databases and resource sharing aggregation services. The core mission of OpenSci lies in its innovative research donation model where researchers can showcase their projects on the platform and receive funding directly from global supporters community. This model not only fills the funding gap in scientific research but also strengthens accountability and openness, setting new standards for scientific funding and development.
The advisory team of OpenSci DAO consists of six top scientists from six different scientific fields with an aim to help users understand more deeply about the value behind researches thus promoting popularization and development of scientific ecosystem. Recognizing that repeatability is a crucial cornerstone for scientific integrity, OpenSci actively encourages researchers to conduct repeatable studies. By prioritizing repeatable experiments, it enhances reliability and validity in scientific discoveries.
