A Russian named teamtimteam installed Bitcoin -miner and built it into his home heating system, earning about 23 rubles a month.

As the user himself reported, he spent a year implementing the idea; together with his fellow engineer, he studied books on hydrodynamics, consulted with plumbers, and created 3D models of the future installation.

At the end of 2023, he bought an Antminer S19 Hydro 151 TH ASIC miner for assembly for 135,000 rubles, with the Bitcoin price at that time being $38,000. In addition, he spent another 29,000 rubles on the purchase of additional components and electrical components.

In total, the inventor of the "crypto boiler" spent almost 164,000 rubles on its creation. At the time of purchasing the equipment, the system brought him a profit of 35,000 rubles per month. Taking into account electricity costs of 12,000 rubles, the net profit is estimated at 23,000 rubles.

Last year, the user built a sauna and equipped its heating system with an ASIC miner, but a more powerful one — Antminer S19 Hydro 198TH. He noted that this project is not just a way to save money, but also an exciting experiment, thanks to which he was able to earn additional income.
