Musk previously responded to OpenAI's plan to deploy $100 billion in the Stargate Project, claiming that they actually don't have the money. In response to Musk's statement, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman wrote on the X platform, saying, "Your statement is incorrect. You must know that. Do you want to come and visit the first construction site? Stargate Project is great for the United States. I know that what is good for the country is not always the best for your company, but in your new role, I hope you will prioritize the United States."
