Trump discusses TikTok issue: If China does not approve the deal, a 100% tariff may be imposed on China
According to the Financial Times, Trump stated that if TikTok continues to operate after the ban, the United States "should have the right to acquire half of TikTok's shares". If China refuses to reach an agreement, he "definitely" can impose tariffs on China. He said this would be a kind of "hostile act", and mentioned that tariffs could be as high as 100%.
