since the election, cryptocurrency companies including Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, and Circle have collectively invested over $10 million in Trump's inauguration fund. These donations will be used to fund official events during the inauguration ceremony, and executives from these companies have also flocked to Washington to prepare for the new president's swearing-in on Monday.

One target of interest for participants in the cryptocurrency industry is the digital asset advisory committee that Trump has pledged to create. The committee will be led by David Sacks, the incoming White House expert on cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence, and Bo Hines, a former North Carolina congressional candidate. A Washington cryptocurrency lobbyist who wished to remain anonymous said that almost everyone in the cryptocurrency industry is currently vying for a seat on the committee.
