Base Protocol Leader: Supporting Chinese developers is one of my primary tasks in 2025
Jesse Pollak, the head of the Base protocol, posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating: "After posting the Chinese tweet 'Base belongs to all of us,' many amazing Chinese developers reached out to me. I'm incredibly proud to be building with you all, and supporting Chinese developers is one of my top priorities for 2025. Who are the most based developers I should be following?"
Yesterday, it was reported that Jesse Pollak shared a Mandarin tweet on X: "Base belongs to all of us." In an exclusive interview, he revealed five strategic directions for Base in 2025, aiming to establish Base as the primary platform for builders. These directions include:
- Building a developer platform: Base aims to create an ecosystem to empower developers.
- Abstracting all on-chain complexity and building a crypto wallet: Simplifying the user experience by managing on-chain complexity.
- Nurturing the ecosystem and applications: Base plans to support and grow its ecosystem, fostering innovation in decentralized applications.
- Fostering a robust capital market to make Base the center of the ecosystem’s economy: Strengthening capital flows within the ecosystem.
- Further decentralizing and continuing to expand: Base will focus on greater decentralization and scaling its network.
Pollak's vision for Base reflects his commitment to empowering developers, particularly in China, and ensuring that Base plays a central role in the broader blockchain ecosystem.
