Starknet introduces SN Stack for custom blockchain development
Starknet (CRYPTO:STRK), a zero-knowledge layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH), has launched the Starknet Stack (SN Stack), enabling developers to create custom blockchains utilising its zero-knowledge technology.
The SN Stack features three configurations: StarkWare Sequencer, Madera, and Dojo.
StarkWare Sequencer closely mirrors the public Starknet stack, ensuring reliability for developers.
Madera offers a fully customisable, open-source environment for tailored development.
Dojo is optimised specifically for gaming applications, reflecting Starknet's focus on the growing blockchain gaming sector.
“We believe zero knowledge technologies are the future of blockchain. It gives you exceptional security and scalability while also being Quantum resistant and cost-efficient,” stated Leo Sizaret, business development manager at StarkWare.
This launch comes amid increasing concerns about quantum computing's potential to compromise modern encryption standards used in blockchain networks.
Zero-knowledge technology allows users to verify information without revealing specific data contents, providing a layer of security against quantum threats.
Dr. XinXin Fan from IoTeX recently highlighted the importance of integrating hash-based zero-knowledge proofs to enhance Ethereum's security against quantum attacks.
Despite advancements in quantum computing, experts suggest that current encryption standards remain secure against existing quantum capabilities.
Starknet's SN Stack aims to address these security concerns while promoting scalability and customisation for developers.
The stack is designed to be user-friendly, allowing projects to leverage Starknet's proven technology for high performance and reliability.
At the time of reporting, the Starknet (STRK) price was $0.4381.
