On January 5th, Shaw, the founder of a16z, once again posted on social media, making severe accusations against the founder of Swarms. He stated that the founder of Swarms "doesn't know how to program at all" and has a history of plagiarism and fraudulent behavior. Shaw claimed that he had warned the Swarms team multiple times, but did not receive an effective response and was instead attacked. In his tweet, he bluntly stated: "These people like a 19-year-old high school dropout, even if Google search can find his fraudulent history, they still don't care." Shaw emphasized that the other party's behavior is very harmful to the industry's development and stated that he will no longer tolerate such behavior.

In response, Swarms officials responded on social media, asking Shaw to point out specific code issues for repair. However, Shaw directly retorted, "These pretenders should learn how to program correctly instead of plagiarizing other people's work."

It is reported that Shaw had previously accused X in December 2024 of suspected unauthorized use of other people's code in the Swarms project, and the relevant code may have come from developer Kye. At that time, he had called on the community to pay attention to this matter, but it did not trigger a major discussion.
