MARA mined 890 BTC in December, with a reserve of 44,893 BTC
Bitcoin mining company MARA Holdings, Inc. released its unaudited BTC production update for December 2024. In December, the company mined 249 blocks, the second highest number of blocks mined in a single month in history. In 2024, MARA purchased 22,065 BTC at an average price of $87,205 and mined an additional 9,457 BTC. MARA's BTC earnings per share at the end of the year were 62.7%.
MARA now holds a total of 44,893 BTC, valued at $4.2 billion at the current spot price of $93,354 per BTC. It is worth noting that as of December 31, 2024, MARA had borrowed 7,377 BTC from third parties.
