Dragonfly Capital Partner: Meme Coins Will Continue to Lose Market Share and Be Replaced by AI Agent Coins
Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner of Dragonfly Capital, stated in a post on January 1 that Meme coins will continue to lose market share and be replaced by "AI Agent" coins. This is a shift from financial nihilism to financial optimism. Qureshi also stated that the "AI Agent trend" may continue until 2025, but it will not last forever. With the emergence of more advanced AI products, people may lose interest in social media chatbots.
According to CoinMarketCap data, in the past 24 hours, the total trading volume of Meme coins has decreased by 21.49%, while the trading volume of top AI and data tokens has increased by 7.95%.
