Maple Finance predicts that Bitcoin will reach $180,000-200,000 by the end of the year, but encryption still has cyclical nature
According to a report from CNBC, Sid Powell, co-founder and CEO of centralized financial platform Maple Finance, stated that by the end of 2025, the price of Bitcoin will reach between $180,000 and $200,000. Powell said in an interview with CNBC's Squawk Box Europe program, "If you look back at history, you'll find that when gold ETFs appeared, inflows increased sharply in the years after the first year of listing. I think we can expect the same with Bitcoin ETFs. As Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies become core asset allocations for institutional asset managers, we will see more funds flowing in over the next few years."
Powell believes another factor driving the rise in Bitcoin prices is the expectation of the US strategic reserve for Bitcoin. However, Powell remains cautious about market corrections. "I think there will still be a correction, as cryptocurrencies are still a cyclical industry."
